An opportunity has arisen for an Event Coordinator to join our dynamic and proactive Marketing and Client Services team. This full-time position will be based in Melbourne and will include a focus on event coordination.
The Melbourne Events Team conducts over 200 internal and external events and seminars annually. You will work as part of the Events Team in supporting the firm's ongoing events calendar, including conferences, business development, corporate hospitality and internal practice development events, as well as as providing support to the Director, Marketing and Client Services with general marketing administration and coordination when required.
This is an operational role and requires someone who is experienced with all aspects of running an event, including inception, budget management, venue identification, contract negotiation, theming, invitations, database management and on-site support during the event.
You will work in a cohesive and supportive team where a flexible, resourceful and proactive attitude is essential. A positive client service approach and project management skills are also required. You must also be able to perform the administrative and database aspects of an events role.
You will have excellent attention to detail, prior experience in organising events for corporate clients, strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
