One of Australia’s top tier law firms has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Business Development Associate to work alongside the BD Manager for its Corporate Group to deliver the group’s BD strategy through sales coaching, account management, facilitating major pursuits, seeking client feedback and enhancing the client experience. Key responsibilities will include:
- Coaching partners: Assist partners and senior lawyers in the development of their individual practices via pursuit initiatives, contact planning, internal relationship building and external profiling, whilst developing effective partner relationships.
- Development of Business Opportunities: Supporting various focus groups and Practice Areas to achieve their BD objectives.
- Account Management: Assisting relationship partners and client teams to grow relationships and achieve revenue targets for key Corporate Group clients.
- Bids and Tenders: Opportunity identification, pursuit coaching and project management of relevant tenders and face-to-face client presentations.
- Client feedback sessions: Conducting face-to-face feedback sessions with clients in order to further improve our service offering.
To be successful in your application, you will have the appropriate degree qualification and at least 4 years experience in a business development advisory or consultancy role. Demonstrated project management on major bids and tenders and building strategic relationships will assist your application
