This is an opportunity to join a leading professional services firm with a sophisticated business development team which is respected, supported and appreciated by the Brisbane partnership.  It is currently seeking a pro-active Business Development Adviser to report to the Business Development Manager and key responsibilities will include:

  • Tenders:  monitoring the market for new opportunities; preparing reports on tenders; managing and writing tenders, proposals, partner profiles and capability statements; and matter debriefs.
  • Client Relationship Management:  assisting in the implementation of client communications plans; developing strategy and managing implementation of direct marketing initiatives.
  • Strategy and Analysis:  analysing market, industry, competitor and target client research before developing business development strategy based on this.
  • Legal Guides and Directories:  managing submissions to industry publications and directories.

To be successful in your application, you will be tertiary qualified and have at least 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably in professional services or another service driven organisation.  It is important that you have experience in tenders, bids and other capability documentation.  Your strong writing and verbal communication skills will assist you to build credibility with senior stakeholders.  A pro-active approach, “can do” attitude, good attention to detail and strong organisational skills will also be key to your success.
