While continually seeking new and dynamic ways to deliver outcomes for its clients, this international law firm is committed to growing, developing and supporting its people.  There is currently an opportunity for a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator with at least four years’ experience to join the firm’s successful and respected business development team.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this role will assist them with practice group business development activities including:

• Business Development: assisting with the identification of new business opportunities as well as assisting the Melbourne practice groups to develop and implement strategies to capture these opportunities.
• Business Writing: writing drafts and project managing content for proposals, capability statements, responses to smaller requests for tender and other business development opportunities, requiring targeted written responses. 
• Strategic projects: working as part of a project team on strategic projects, as identified in the Marketing group's business priorities.
• Events: supports the planning and organisation of marketing events
• Media relations: supporting PR activities in line with practice group plans.

To apply, you will be degree qualified (marketing or a related discipline) and have at least 4 years’ relevant experience, preferably gained in a professional services environment.  You will have excellent written communication skills allowing you to translate the technical and to write persuasively.  Enthusiasm, self motivation and a positive attitude will assist your application.  Importantly, you will be someone who enjoys being pro-active and taking initiative.  You will have demonstrable experience in consulting to and forming relationships with senior stakeholders.
