Based in our Melbourne CBD office, a rare opportunity exists for a Marketing Communications Advisor to join GHD's Business Development & Marketing team. We seek a multi-talented person with experience in both marketing and communication to implement Victoria's positioning strategy in each of the company's market sectors and coordinate client satisfaction initiatives.
 
Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce (major in Marketing) or Communications or equivalent
• Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with the Marketing Manager to conduct research and implement positioning strategies across the marketing communications mix for each of GHD's market sectors
• Write media releases, articles and speeches, prepare award submissions and manage GHD's website content for Victoria
• Negotiate and oversee advertising and sponsorship opportunities
• Develop event concepts and collateral and support GHD event coordination
• Develop and execute processes for storing information, sharing knowledge, executing actions and communicating findings for all client satisfaction initiatives.

Essential will be your prior experience in at least one of GHD's market sectors (Water, Energy and Resources, Transport, Environment, Property and Buildings). The successful individual will have initiative and be an exceptional team player with good people and influencing skills.
