As National Communications Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the firm’s media relations, public relations and profiling program.   You will advise on and manage liaison with the appropriate channels for profiling reputation and expertise and work in concert with multiple practice and service teams to reach target audiences with clear, consistent and positive key messages through a variety of communication channels.

Essential to winning this role will be the ability to work effectively in an environment of high volume and pressure, often with tight deadlines and conflicting priorities.  You will be adept at managing a variety of stakeholders, as well as having the ability to manage delegated authority whilst maintaining effective communication across the firm.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications/journalism/media and public relations are mandatory as well as expert knowledge and extensive experience in media management in the business/financial and/or professional services sector.  In addition, you will have highly developed leadership and team player skills, a high degree of proactivity and problem solving ability and be able to communicate complex/sensitive issues to a broad audience.
