RPS based in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley is looking to appoint a Business Development / Marketing Assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience preferably within a professional services firm or the property/construction industry.  

Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager - SEQ, your brief is to deliver a range of high level administrative tasks relating to marketing and business development, and play an integral role in contributing to the overall success of RPS in the pursuit of business opportunities and client relationship management initiatives.  

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating events including corporate hospitality, in-house seminars and boardroom lunches.
• Assisting with preparing tenders, proposals, capability statements and other marketing materials in conjunction with client managers, involving project management, coordinating contributions, researching and writing.
• Contributing to brand reputation activities including award submissions and thought leadership initiatives.
• Coordinating SEQ region sponsorship and membership requirements.
• Undertaking special projects as requested by the Business Development Manager and/or Group Marketing Manager in support of special group-wide or regional marketing strategies.

We will consider candidates who can demonstrate experience in providing high level support in business development or in a related field and who are committed to pursuing a career in marketing by either holding or working towards a marketing-related qualification. You will also possess strong computer literacy skills using Microsoft Suite, with InDesign advantageous.
