We are seeking a special individual compatible with these values,  who has experience marketing in any industry.
This is a varied position, working closely with one other marketing specialist and supporting the marketing efforts of leaders in the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing tenders in collaboration with marketing leader and professional specialists within the busines
  • Collaborating with marketing on various initiatives and strategies
  • Gathering and developing competitive market intelligence and key activity to help guide opportunity development
  • Management of new business opportunities – research, participation in new business team meetings, monitoring and updating CRM database on lead generation
  • Collaborating with professional leaders and managers on proposals, client presentations, tenders and strategies
  • Building a network with prospective and existing clients
  • Preparing information for client case studies


An Average Work Week:


The amount of time you spend on each of the different responsibilities can vary depending upon the changing needs of the business. The key to this role – and the culture of this organisation – is creative flexibility. Overall, there is a weighting towards tender preparation and management.


Some weeks you could be spending the majority of your time collecting information and collating and writing and reviewing tenders; others you could be working with the marketing and business development team to develop strategies for marketing and business development.


Capabilities:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications or similar
  • A working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • A knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite would be an advantage
  • Flexibility to work in different and changing circumstances
  • Client services management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management / engagement capability
