This key role will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for a range of communication activities, including FWPA's promotion and dissemination of research findings, with a primary focus on activities in the use of wood in the built environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have significant previous experience in the marketing and promotion of building materials or other technically demanding products to architects, engineers and other building specifiers.

You will possess an ability to quickly understand scientific research findings and to determine the best way to disseminate these findings to industry and other stakeholders.

You need to be strategic and comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels, but also willing to get your hands 'dirty' to ensure error-free execution of all communication activities.

This role is for an 18 month period to cover a planned maternity leave with an immediate start (6-month overlap with the incumbent).
