Our integrated Advisory practice provides unique and seamless business solutions that deliver both organic and inorganic growth to many of Australia's leading companies. This role will focus on the Deals team who work with clients in a variety of situations associated with the inorganic growth of their business through to restructuring work with those in distress.  They also provide services to government clients on large infrastructure projects.
 
As we continue to grow our Advisory-Deals business a strong focus on improving the overall business development processes is integral to the strategy.  This role will focus on improving the quality and efficiency of the proposals process within the sales cycle.
 
Working closely with the Deals innovation team you will be responsible for the design and delivery of a successful proposals process including the formulation of value propositions, undertaking needs analysis processes to support the efficient creation, pitching and success of proposals that align to our overall market strategy.
 
Key accountabilities Include: 

  • Conducting a business review to understand the existing approach to writing, generating and storing proposals whilst mapping out existing bottlenecks.
  • Designing and road mapping a new approach that increases proposal efficiencies whilst identifying opportunities to enhance technological support.
  • Working with senior stakeholders to champion the new approach whilst providing required education and coaching to business users

Key characteristics required:

  • A minimum 3-5 years experience in a related proposal development position where you can demonstrate the end to end delivery of organisational change associated with process innovation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that allow you to influence others build consultative relationships and coach others around process improvement.
  • Excellent project management skills that you use to identify key milestones, manage multiple priorities to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  • A lateral and inquisitive mind that allows you to embrace challenge and work with others to develop new insight
  •  Willingness to work as part of a team, collaborate with others to create collective success.
